Terms of service

These terms apply when you install or use PIDReady, a Shopify app, for your store. PIDReady is provided by Alejandro Oberogo, Beechwood Grove, Manchester, M9 4ND, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”), who provides it. By installing PIDReady you accept these terms for the business that owns the store. If you don't agree, don't install PIDReady, or uninstall it.

1. What PIDReady does

PIDReady reads your product catalogue through Shopify, shows which variants lack the product identifiers EU customs ask for (M-PID, NS-PID and S-PID), HS codes or countries of origin, lets you fill them in and exports files for carriers. The values you save are written to your own Shopify store.

2. Not customs, legal or tax advice

PIDReady is a data tool. Its checks follow published customs and carrier guidance, but they are not legal, customs or tax advice, and they do not guarantee that customs authorities, carriers or marketplaces will accept your data. You are responsible for the accuracy of your product data, including HS codes and countries of origin, and for meeting the rules that apply to your shipments.

3. Your responsibilities

• You have the authority to use PIDReady for the store.
• You keep the information you enter accurate and check exported files before you use them.
• You use PIDReady lawfully and in line with Shopify's terms.
• You don't try to disrupt or overload PIDReady, reverse engineer it, or access data or systems you are not allowed to.

4. Plans and fees

PIDReady has a free plan and paid plans. The free plan includes the full scan, the report and one-by-one edits, with a limit every 30 days on bulk changes, imports and the size of carrier exports; paid plans raise or remove those limits. Plans, limits and prices are shown in Shopify before you subscribe, and charges are billed by Shopify under its terms. We never see your payment details. You can change your plan in Shopify at any time, and uninstalling PIDReady cancels any subscription.

5. Your data

Your store's data stays yours. You allow us to use it only to provide PIDReady, as our privacy policy describes. When you uninstall PIDReady we delete it as that policy explains; the values you saved stay in your store.

6. Availability and changes to PIDReady

We work to keep PIDReady available and accurate, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Shopify, carriers and customs rules change, so we may update, change or remove features. If we decide to stop offering PIDReady, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

7. Ending or suspending use

You can stop using PIDReady at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, if Shopify requires it, or where we must for legal or security reasons.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, and as far as the law allows:

• PIDReady is provided without any promises beyond those in these terms;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, or for customs duties, penalties, delays or returned shipments;
• our total liability for all claims is limited to the fees you paid for PIDReady in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, if a change is significant, give you reasonable notice before it applies. If you keep using PIDReady after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
